Who We Are: Texas Life Connections (TLC) mission is to connect the local church to a statewide Christ-centered network of life-affirming ministries. These include:
-pregnancy resource centers
-post-abortion recovery groups
-adoption agencies
-maternity homes
-abstinence groups
-foster care providers
TLC members are ministry partners linked by individually affirming a statement of faith and shared ministry goals.
Our Purpose: Texas Life Connections exists to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.Every TLC member is committed to evangelism while carrying out the life affirming mission of their specific ministry. TLC is a ministry resource for Southern Baptist and other evangelical churches, and other parachurch ministries across the state of Texas.TLC is also a resource for its members to connect the spiritually needy and lost to the ministry of the local church.
Our Vision: The vision of TLC is to broaden the network to include other life affirming parachurch ministries that meet the needs of families and individuals from conception to natural death.

Martha's Cookies
Martha's Cookies functions as the educational arm of the Council for Life, equipping and educating their membership for unexpected conversational opportunities within their personal sphere of influence. It acts as a pregnancy center without walls. A trained consultant will meet a client at her convenience at a location of her choice - a Starbucks, a restaurant or even a park. This service is especially attractive to college students and young career women who may not initially feel comfortable contacting a pregnancy resource center, but still need the same information, services and support. All services are free and confidential. Council for Life continues to strive toward a community that is both educated and articulate about the complex issues surrounding unplanned pregnancies and the sanctity of life.
